My Story - Emily McConnell

Art has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. When I discovered graphic design, it felt like the perfect blend of creativity and technology — a way to bring ideas to life through both artistry and precision.
I graduated from Berks Technical Institute in Reading, PA, in 2008 with an Associate’s Degree in Graphic Design. At graduation, I was honored to receive The Brian Foss Award, recognizing the most talented and most improved designer in the program.
Soon after, I was fortunate enough to take over an established local design business — KI Graphics, which had been serving clients since 1988. Fifteen years later, EM’s Graphic Studio is still going strong. I specialize not only in graphic design for businesses but also in designing and printing custom, beautifully crafted wedding invitations that set the tone for couples’ most memorable day.
Since entering the field in 2006, I’ve continued to grow, learn, and refine my craft. Today, I’m grateful to work with more than 300 loyal clients, helping them bring their visions to life — from brand identities to one-of-a-kind wedding stationery — with projects and partnerships continuing to flourish every year.
Hard work, creativity, and a dedication to excellence have been the foundation of my career. I love collaborating with clients to design products that not only meet their needs but perfectly capture their vision — whether it’s for a business, a special event, or the wedding of a lifetime.
